A mention link is when someone mentions your brand but doesn't link to your website. It's an easy way to build links on an ongoing basis.

Here's an example:

I use an excellent content research tool called BuzzSumo. In the monitoring part of this tool, I can see when someone mentions my brand name and if they mentioned but didn't link.

It also shows me the Domain Authority (DA) of this website. A Domain Authority score is measured on a scale from 1 to 100. The higher the domain authority, the more influential the website is.

In the example above, both websites mentioned my other company (RazorSocial) but only the second one linked to the website. For the first one, you can see 'No link' followed by 'DA 52'. This means the Domain Authority is 52 which is quite good.

I don't want to miss out on this valuable link so I'm going to reach out using one of the OutreachPlus templates and ask them to add a link to my website.

The sooner you send this request after you see an un-linked mention, the better conversion you will get.

This is an easy way to add valuable links to your website, grow your traffic and increase your domain authority.
